In this short tutorial I will explain to you how to use Etcher to make a bootable USB device. The difference between this application and the others in the previous articles I did is that it can't create multibootable USB devices, as can be done in different applications. But, it is just another very handy program to create a bootable flash drive.

Within this tutorial, for demonstration purposes I used the ISO image from the most recent build of Windows 10. If you would like to do the same, then you may download the picture from the Microsoft website by choosing the variant you want.

Download the Etcher applications from their site and install it.
Run the app and insert your USB device.

Together with the application open and also the flash drive plugged in, Etcher will automatically recognize the USB device that's plugged in for use. Now, all you need to do is select the ISO file that you have download and click on the"Next" button.

Today, the unit is now ready and available for use. Remembering that it is also possible to use an operating system that runs right on the USB device, for example Linux.
